In these times of email communications
are telephones more of a nuisance than a benefit, letters an expense
rather than a necessity ? Daily Newspapers a deja vue of what one
read in the 'on line edition' of each the day before, if not of what
one read in a different newspaper posted on line the previous week?
Recently our phone has been ringing, and when answered has nothing to
relay other than a noisy lack of actual communication ending with
the word goodbye. This a while ago set to music by The Beetles. <

1471 advising that the caller's number
has been withheld. Then there are firms that ring to assure us that
we have had a car accident a way back, though happily we didn’t,
and that their firm is in a position to claim untold of damages on
our behalf. I suspect such phone calls come from 'bucket shop'
enterprises minded to introduce our business to firms of Solicitors
on a commission basis. Are these the same firms which advertise on
television, each wishing to represent our interests utilising their
'Real Lawyers?' There are even more of those roaming the streets than
un-employed qualified Solicitors.

Not dissimilarly one gets unsolicited
phone calls seemingly from the sub continent which invariably start
with unaccustomed politeness, these go on to try ones patience for
one reason or another. It doesn't help my schedule to be so
interrupted by such phone calls, even those which emanate from a
multi lingual Phd., whose country can find no better outlet for their
talent than phoning me. It is a counter productive activity which I
now field on the lines of thank you for calling me, but am well
suited already. Very sorry, even I have no time to spare for them,
any more than for UK based
telephonic sales persons of Solar Panels, Double Glazing, Wall
and ceiling insulation, you name it. All that apart our letter box is
very conveniently placed vis a vis our waste paper bin. If there
really is such a thing as global warming what effect does all the
rubbish pushed through letter boxes have on it. It could of course be
worse, for in France there is an enforceable legal right for
advertisers to stuff all such 'bumph' through anyone's letter box.

What news of Messrs JBW
Judicial Services Group who have been pestering our home address for
a congestion charge allegedly incurred by a Ms. S.C. Whom
unfortunately we know not of. One may wonder concerning the business
acumen of this firm, which having been so advised continues to harass
our address, writing that it would need to see either the like of a
Utility Bill or a Community Charge Account for our address, before
ceasing to do so. How impertinent can a firm get ? Our affairs have
nothing to do with JBW Judicial Services Group, and what on the earth
makes this firm think seeing any such document would prove anything.
Might it not be a better idea to try and trace this alleged debtor
through the Sensitive Cases Department of the DVLA Swansea, which
assures me that neither Ms.S.C nor her car registration number has,
nor ever has had any connection with our address. I still await
payment of my OUTSTANDING INVOICE posted to JBW for £75 Secretarial
Services and Notional Damages of £100 for harassment. The total to
be paid as a Charitable Donation to a specified Branch of the RDA. I
am minded to pursue this matter in the small Claims Court. One thing
about the internet is that Directors of Companies are more easily
traceable, along with their home addresses, and in the case of one of
JBW's senior executives detail of the School she attended. If I can
so easily find such information, it may so be that were JBW of
Yorkshire could use some initiative too use its, maybe it in turn
could trace Ms.S.C if she really exists. Why not give 192.com. a go

SUNDAY TELEGRAPH MONEY SECTION.

On September 28^th Sunday
Telegraph Columnist Teresa Hunter used the Front Page of its Money
Section to make similar complaint about an unspecified firm. In the
article she confessed to being tempted to pay the money allegedly
owed by another. Happily rather than do so she too went public. I
trust Teresa Hunter is to produce a follow up article, hopefully not
illustrating it with the picture of a friend's twins, I mistakenly
sent in lieu of another document.

One needs have a care with some of
those Credit Rating Firms who offer one limited free access to their
services, for making such an application tells them more of your
circumstance, than they’ll tell you of your own, and take care to
'look at the teeth of gift horses' such as Free Soft ware Programmes
and Computer Scans, have a care too of 'Cloud Storage' on line. Its
a jungle out there!

(Possibly one has developed a prejudice
against JBW's Yorkshire ? Is it not the home of PLUS NET the
internet service provider, which provides me with a slower, all be
it a cheaper service than did my recent TALK TALK ISP. One has too
read much of both the West and South Yorkshire Police Forces of
late.)

I have received your letter dated 19th August. I note your apology for harassing me, and informing me that you have a Warrant of Control to enforce against your customer at my address. I had rather gathered that Transport London was your customer rather than ** ****** ******* . One only has your word for it that any such document is in existence. If it is then who ever issued the Warrant did so because someone had laid false evidence before them, possibly due to sloppiness rather than wilful deceit.







However having since been informed that **.****** ******* is not known at this address, instead of checking the facts for error, you chose to issue threats with menaces, to whit the attendance at my address of an Enforcement Officer. Instead of so compounding an error it might be a good idea if you were to check with the DVLA where ** ****** ******* and her motor car are registered, rather that adopt bully boy tactics with someone who is less than impressed by them. DVLA have confirmed to me that neither this person nor ****** are recorded in connection with my address under current or previous keeper details, and that copies of my correspondence have been attached to Vehicle Records.







I still have no wish to tell you my name or provide you with copies of utility bills, for I have no idea either how doing so will in any way solve your dilemma, further more there is no telling of what might become of information, that is no concern of yours.







Due to your persistence I will again report this harassment to the Enforcement Officers Association, to Transport London, and in case I have forgotten anyone post a copy of this letter on the internet.

A Miss Sophie Charles allegedly the
owner or driver of T59DOD in respect of an alleged unpaid congestion
charge owing to London Transport in an amount of £202.00 including
fees.

That is all very fine , however alas
Miss Sophie Charles neither lives, nor has ever lived at the
mentioned Address in Wiltshire. It was only today when another letter
arrived which one opened in error, that I became aware of what all
the envelopes that preceded it may have contained. Several such
envelopes , duly annotated by me having already been returned to Box
58. Eventually suspecting a scam, the penultimate letter was referred
to both Messrs Experian and the Yorkshire Police among others. I was
given to understand by the Yorkshire Police that Post Box 58
Darlington didn't exist ?

It seems that whether through its own
fault or not, the DVLA advised Transport Of London that the said Miss
Sophie Charles and T59DOD were housed and garaged at a false
Wiltshire Address.

Mistake or not , a representative of
LONDON TRANSPORT must then have supplied false evidence to the
Northampton County Court , concerning the abode of Miss Sophie
Charles. Seemingly the Court decided in favour of London Transport.

If this whole matter is a scam
intended to extract money under false pretences. I would
willingly testify that no Court Papers have been delivered to my
address at any stage.

Maybe London Transport owes both the
Court and I an apology.

On the basis that any such
testimony given to the Northampton Court was false maybe both London Transport owes both the Northampton County Court an I apologies.

To the Court if it laid false evidence and to me for the

 Harassment of my address,
thereby denting its financial profile.

As I have been put to no end of
trouble concerning this matter, it is my intention to send

jbw Judicial Services Group a bill not
only for my wasted time and expense, but too for associating a debt
to my house, without justification. Naturally one will also be
advising the Northampton Court of the matter.

How informative the report from Lady Justice Hallett concerning affairs in Northern Ireland. One notes Lady Justice Hallett’s conclusion that,





"The administrative scheme was not unlawful in principle did not grant immunity from prosecution.





I am sure the judge will be gratified to know that her judgement on the latter point concurs with mine as oft stated. How on the earth, anyone can interpret a letter confirming that at the time the letter was written the recipient was not being sought by the Authorities, as any sort of immunity from prosecution at a later date, Heaven only knows.





Why is it that the obvious, so often escapes the prejudiced ?

WILTON TOWN CENTRE.

Obviously resurfacing
Wilton's through road was going to cause disruption, however surely
the powers that be, could have got their act together after so many
weeks of muddle. Even when the through road is open, there are still
signs on the approach road advising that the road is closed, and that
diversions are in force, without any suggestion as to how traffic
should proceed. Locals who know of alternative routes between any two
essential points are advised that they should not be used. All this
at a time the world in general was told not to use the A303 because
of the Solstice. Best not to go there at any time, as 'improvements'
there to, have produced monumental congestion. Hard to imagine how
that has come about, for closing off the road running beside the
stones, should have enhanced the traffic flow on the A303. Possibly
as a temporary measure West bound traffic should be funnelled into
one lane miles to the East of the Amesbury roundabout.

 

What news of that idea
promulgated a while back of re-siting Stonehenge at the Old Sarum
Cathedral site, and re-routing the A.30 across the grounds of Wilton
House giving traffic a straight run through to the Blandford Road?

 

SALISBURY TOWN CENTRE.

A while ago some of the
traffic lights on the A.30 Ring Road failed, and the easier traffic
flow put one in mind of years back, when all one did was give way to
traffic on ones right.

 

WAITROSE. There are three
pedestrian approaches to this shopping complex. The one tunnel under
the A.30 ring road, people have no wish to use , for it seems a
place better to avoid. Another tunnel under the A.30 then passes
alongside the River Avon, and there is too a foot path down from the
A.30.that passes behind the Waitrose filling station. One realises
that the several roads leading to and from Waitrose are intended for
traffic rather than pedestrians. Regardless of that, pedestrians do
use the road between the Waitrose and Central Car Park as a
pedestrian passage way. One may wonder therefore, why some bright
spark was minded to place a traffic light standard in the middle of
the thin kerb there , so causing erring pedestrians to step out into
the road. Do seem to recall that I for one brought these dangerously
placed lights, which might better be hung from above to the Council's
attention some years ago, but nothing happened, though it was
promised that the light might be re-sited, the lights are still in
situ.

 

A. 36 EAST BOUND. We get
more and more building alongside the A.36 . Is it not high time to
introduce another roundabout half way between that at the Wiltshire
College and the one just before the Park and Ride. As things
currently are, all cars entering the A.36 at Wiltshire College,
either have to proceed along the road to Southampton, or use the
Park and Ride' roundabout and return the whole length of the road, to
get back into the city.

 

CHURCHFIELDS TRADING
ESTATE is an abomination in the face of good town planning.

 

TISBURY. The cement Pussy
Cat that can be spotted in the middle of the Bridge, in accompanying
photograph, was thought to be stolen a while back by unspecified
Tisbury Youths. One heard tell that it had been seen in the Hindon
Lane area. Should anyone be able to catch the nimble chap, its family
would appreciate its return.

Madeleine Mc. Cann and the Portugese Debacle

One reads that for the fourth time
Madeleine Mc. Canns parents have attended Court in Lisbon in
pursuance of their libel action against the former Police Chief who
first investigated their loss of Madeleine, and that for a fourth
time the case has been delayed at the request of the former Police
Chief. He having this time around dismissed his legal team. One may
wonder why he should have done that, could it possibly be because the
advice it gave him was that he should attempt to settle rather than
contest the case. Whatever the reason , could this person not have
advised the Mc.Canns that he was making an application for delay,
prior to the Madeleine's parents leaving England to attend the Court,
rather than present the application at the last moment, when all were
assembled to hear the action ? One reads that the fifth Court
appearance is scheduled for the eighth of next month.

Seemingly things are done differently
in Portugal, (and too in Italy) but one hopes that the Mc.Canns will
continue with their action, rather than let the respondent wear them
, or their financial resources down. No doubt the Portuguese Court
will see Justice done, rather than be associated with the apparent
débâcle following Madeleine's abduction.
